At the intersection of Fuxing Street and Huaihai Street stands a Wukang Building, formerly called the Normandy Apartment, built in 1924, it is an impressive construction in the art deco style. Stare at it for a while and you will be transported to another era. There are many art deco buildings in the city, but this one is reputed to be haunted.
