Start your day with a visit to West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known for its picturesque scenery, the lake is dotted with pagodas, temples, and lush gardens. If you can rise early, you'll have the chance to witness a stunning sunrise over the lake, a classic and iconic view.
If you miss the sunrise, don't worry! You can still enjoy the beauty of the lake by walking along its shores or taking a relaxing boat cruise to soak in the tranquil surroundings.
In the afternoon, head to the Meijiawu Tea Plantation, one of the most important producers of Dragon Well Tea (Longjing Tea). Here, you can explore the sprawling tea fields, try picking tea leaves, and learn about the tea processing methods. Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea session, sipping freshly brewed Longjing tea while taking in the serene landscape.
If you are traveling with us, you will enjoy a flexible itinerary. For example, you can visit Meijiawu in the morning and relish a leisurely exploration of West Lake in the afternoon.
After the visit, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.
Begin your second day at Leifeng Pagoda, where you can enjoy panoramic views of West Lake from above. This historic pagoda, built in 975 AD, is a beautiful architectural marvel surrounded by lovely gardens.
Next, visit Lingyin Temple, one of the largest and most important Buddhist temples in China. Here, you can admire exquisite Buddhist statues and serene landscapes, offering a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle.
