In the morning, we will leave at the appropriate time from your hotel in Beijing city center and drive to Tian'anmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. There you can see the Tian'anmen Monument, considered the national symbol of China. Afterwards, we will walk through the Tian'anmen Gate until we reach the Meridian Gate, from where you will enter the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with a history of approximately 600 years.
After having lunch at a local Beijing restaurant, we began exploring the Temple of Heaven, a place where ancient emperors pray for good harvests and peace for the nation. Today, it is a World Heritage Site, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and an iconic landmark in Beijing. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest is one of the most important and impressive buildings in China. After the visit, you will return to the hotel by car. You short but memorable journey ends here, hope to see you again.
