1-Day Yangtze River Scenery & Culture Tour in Fengjie

In the morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel in Chongqing and your driver will drive you to Chongqing North Station to catch a comfortable high-speed train and arrive at Fengjie Station in about 2 hours. You'll then transfer to the first highlight of the day – the renowned "City of Poetry," Baidi City. Here, you'll step into history, explore ancient temples and stone tablet forests, immerse in the lyrical landscape celebrated by great poets like Li Bai and Du Fu, and gaze into the distance at the majestic Kuimen Gate on the Yangtze River.

Next, at the Zhongyi Ferry within the scenic area, you'll board a dedicated cruise boat for a memorable water journey through the Qutang Gorge. Gliding on the tranquil river, you'll have a close-up view of the towering, sheer cliffs on both sides, personally experiencing the awe-inspiring grandeur of the "Supreme Kuimen under Heaven."

After disembarking, we will proceed by vehicle (combined with a potential short walk, depending on the chosen route) to the climax of the trip – the Three Gorges Supreme (Sanxia Zhidian). Standing atop Chijia Mountain, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking bird's-eye panorama. From this vantage point, you can take in the sweeping views of the winding Yangtze River, the magnificent Qutang Gorge, and the iconic Kuimen Gate in its entirety.

Upon concluding the tour, we will transfer back to Fengjie Railway Station to board an early evening high-speed train, returning to Chongqing and concluding this rich and unforgettable day of poetic and picturesque discovery.
