Morning: Terracotta Army & Warrior-Making
Visit the Museum of the Terracotta Army of Qin Shihuang. Explore Pits 1, 2, and 3 to witness the awe-inspiring scale of this ""Eighth Wonder of the World"" and feel the might of the First Emperor's dynasty.
Core Experience: Participate in a Terracotta Warrior-making workshop. Under guidance, mold, carve, and create your own unique replica from clay, gaining a hands-on understanding of this ancient craft.
Afternoon: City Wall & Great Mosque
Return to the city center and ascend the Xi'an City Wall, one of the world's most complete ancient military defense systems. Enjoy a bike ride or walk along a section for panoramic views.
Next, visit the Great Mosque of Xi'an, one of China's largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques. Admire its unique blend of traditional Chinese garden architecture and Islamic design.
Evening: Flavors of the Muslim Quarter
As evening falls, explore the adjacent bustling Muslim Quarter (Huimin Street). This famous food street is the perfect place to sample local delicacies like roujiamo (pork burger), yangrou paomo (pita bread soaked in lamb soup), and persimmon cakes, immersing in the vibrant local atmosphere.
Morning: Hanfu Experience & Small Wild Goose Pagoda
The morning's highlight is a Hanfu Experience. Select and dress in traditional Han Chinese attire at a professional studio, complete with hairstyling, to begin your day as a time-traveler.
While in Hanfu, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. This graceful, Tang-dynasty brick pagoda stands in a tranquil setting, offering a perfect historical backdrop for photos.
Afternoon: Xi'an Museum
The pagoda is located within the grounds of the Xi'an Museum. After changing (or continuing in Hanfu), explore the museum's extensive collections. Its permanent exhibition, "Ancient Capital Xi'an," focuses on artifacts from the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties, providing the perfect scholarly complement to the previous day's explorations.
