In the afternoon, visit Huaqing Palace, a renowned royal garden with a history of over 3,000 years. Carved in the Tang Dynasty, the 71-meter-tall giant Buddha sits at the confluence of three rivers. Hike down the plank path to admire the grand Buddha statue up close, appreciate exquisite ancient stone carving craftsmanship and spectacular river landscape.
