1. Accommodation is included in this private tailor-made tour. We arrange 4-star hotels that regularly host international travelers as standard. If you wish to upgrade or downgrade the hotel category, or prefer to book your own accommodation, please contact us in advance.
2. Daily breakfast is included and served at your arranged hotel.
3. Lunch is provided on all sightseeing days, with at least one hour reserved for dining. On days you take a flight or high-speed train to another city, lunch will be provided by the airline or at your own arrangement.
4. Meals are arranged at regular local restaurants unless otherwise requested. If you have special dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free meals, please inform us ahead of time so we can make proper arrangements.

Your guide and driver will pick you up at the airport or railway station, then transfer you to Longji Rice Terraces in a comfortable private vehicle and help you check into a view hotel inside the scenic area. The original mountain road trip takes 3–4 hours; we specially arrange highway routes to shorten the journey to around 2 hours.
You are free to arrange your spare time and unwind amid idyllic pastoral terraced scenery.
Note: If you arrive after 19:00, we suggest you stay one night in downtown Guilin for sufficient rest and travel safety.
Today you will explore Longji Rice Terraces, a centuries-old terraced farming wonder carved along mountain slopes by Zhuang ethnic villagers. Your guide will take you to top viewing platforms to appreciate the most spectacular layered terraced landscapes.
Later, you will pay a visit to a local Zhuang household. The host will show you daily living items and farming tools, plus share the local ethnic culture. You can enjoy leisure time before lunch.
Lunch serves authentic local specialties including bamboo rice, cured bacon and stir-fried bamboo shoots.
After a short break, your guide will lead you on a hiking trip from Ping’an Village to Ancient Zhuang Village. This route boasts the most photogenic scenery across the entire Longji area. Most paths are downhill country trails with mild challenge and low physical exhaustion. You may greet friendly local villagers along the way for authentic cultural interaction.
Your driver will drive the car to Ancient Zhuang Village in advance. After the hike, your guide and driver will transfer you to a hotel in downtown Guilin.
First you will tour Daxu Ancient Town, once a vital ancient trade port gradually faded from crowds. You can admire characteristic local architecture and learn its prosperous commercial history. You may also visit an elderly local’s residence to view his collection of antique curios spanning hundreds of years.
After lunch, head to Guilin’s most iconic spots: Elephant Trunk Hill (the city symbol shaped like an elephant drinking river water) and Reed Flute Cave, a famous karst cave with dazzling stalactite landscapes.
The rest of the day is at your disposal. It is recommended that your guide takes you to the city center to experience Guilin’s laid-back slow urban lifestyle.
Get up early to start your Li River cruise excursion. You will enjoy a 4-hour scenic cruise along the Li River flanked by world-famous karst peaks. We arrange a luxury 4-star cruise ship with upgraded facilities and a complimentary buffet lunch on board.
After disembarkation, you have multiple options for the rest of the day: wander Yangshuo West Street, join folk handicraft workshops or Chinese cooking classes. Please contact us to customize your preferred arrangements.
We arrange this session in the early morning with soft sunlight to avoid strong heat. First you will ride a bicycle or electric scooter through Yangshuo’s countryside Shili Gallery, drifting past rice fields, karst peaks and pastoral villages.
Next, experience a manual bamboo raft drifting on the Yulong River, gliding over clear water through gentle river dams and picturesque rural landscapes.
You can take casual photos and relax during the whole experience. You will check into your hotel in Yangshuo for overnight stay.
Your guide and driver will drive you back to Guilin, then send you to the airport or railway station to finish your entire Guilin & Yangshuo journey.
