Afternoon: Strolling the ‘Wutong' District
Spend the afternoon exploring the charming Wukang Road and Anfu Road neighborhood. Stroll under the plane trees, passing by historic buildings, designer boutiques, independent cafes, and trendy shops. Be sure to take a photo of the iconic Normandie Apartments (Wukang Building), a ship-shaped structure at a major intersection.
Evening: The Glittering Ancient Temple
As evening falls, head to Jing'an Temple. This millennia-old Buddhist temple, located in the heart of the bustling downtown, is stunningly illuminated at night. Its golden halls create a breathtaking visual contrast with the surrounding modern skyscrapers, perfectly symbolizing the city's blend of old and new.
